Van Gogh and the Beauty of Lent

A Lenten Devotional

This Lenten season, The Garden invites you to take part in a devotional program with paintings and letters of Vincent van Gogh as our guides. Each week, biblical passages and pieces of Van Gogh’s work throw light on each other, pointing toward simple, powerful practices you can try yourself, with your family or friends, or with your faith community. Week by week, we’ll travel this Lenten journey together toward Easter morning – and thereby do our part to help lengthen the light, humble our hearts, and open our eyes to the beauty and grace of springtime rebirth. We will also host a movie night and a trip to The Lume.
