July 29 - AN EVENING OF HOPE & ACTION WITH RABBI AARON SPIEGEL
Indiana is known for “pro-landlord” laws that may be unfair to vulnerable populations. A handful of people work tirelessly to change those laws. Rabbi Aaron Spiegel is one of them. Shalom Zone and The Garden invite you to come hear about evictions, landlord malfeasance, rent escrow possibilities, expungement of eviction records, and the latest happenings with the faith community’s efforts to end homelessness. Tuesday, July 29 at 7 p.m. at First Friends Church, 3030 Kessler Blvd East Drive.

July 29 - IN SEARCH OF TRUE FRIENDSHIP
You're invited to explore how spiritual principles can help us foster meaningful connections and create a culture of community—-one where everyone thrives because of, not in spite of, our diversity. With so many tools to connect, why do so many of us still feel alone? Maybe true friendship needs more than just contact, but calls for a recognition of our spiritual nature and shared humanity? Though we are wired to connect, society can isolate us, especially when we let differences divide us. What would change if we lived into the spiritual truth that we're one human family? Can such a shift deepen the relationships we seek and reshape our communities to be more inclusive and nourishing for everyone? Join for a conversation that welcomes every perspective in the search for true friendship—and a better way to live together. Part of the Indianapolis Baha'i Community's Meaningful Conversations Series.

August 5 - DEATH CAFE WITH RICHARD BRENDAN
A safe place to talk about life, death, and everything in between. August 5 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary (The Garden's temporary new home). 740 E 86th Street, Indianapolis
-
August 5 - THE SPIRTUALITY OF GENDER EQUALITY
Can humanity truly thrive if half its members are held back? Is equality a zero-sum game—or does uplifting women strengthen society as a whole? Just as a bird cannot fly with one broken wing, humanity cannot reach its full potential unless both men and women are empowered equally. True progress requires both wings—both voices—working in harmony, not opposition. Join us for a welcoming, thought-provoking dialogue on spiritual insights of the essential equality of the sexes. Let’s explore how this principle can build stronger communities and help all of humanity soar. Part of the Indianapolis Bahá’í Community's Meaningful Conversations Series.
