Are You a VIP?

Introducing 2nd Quarter Big Give Recipient

We usually use the term "VIP" to refer to people who have some kind of elevated status, such as a celebrity, a leader, an award winner, or a guest of honor at an event. Such VIPs tend to enjoy special treatment above and beyond that which non-VIPs would expect to receive. The status indicates that in some fashion these people deserve more respect or service than everyone else. As always, perspective makes all the difference.

Jesus treated everyone with love and respect as he saw beyond surface things like wealth and status. While we often clamor to get ahead in life, even competing to do better than others, Jesus has some suggestions to help us find our way to the back of the line.

This Sunday at The Garden, we will introduce our second-quarter Big Give recipient, an organization dedicated to serving a special kind of VIP... Visually Impaired Preschoolers.
