Throwing Paint Against the Wall

Rev. Dr. Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes • January 27, 2025

Let's Get Creative

This Sunday, get ready to throw some paint against the wall... figuratively speaking, that is. We're diving into a brainstorming session to explore this question: “How might The Garden foster sacred exploration, community, and impact the world in loving, positive, and creative ways?”

Think of it like this: we're each bringing a unique palette of ideas, and we're going to splash them onto the canvas of our imaginations. No idea is too bold, too outlandish, or too small. We'll step back, admire the vibrant mess, and see what new possibilities emerge.

Through mindful conversation, we'll consider the needs around us and how God might use The Garden – and us – to bring light and love to the world. We'll take a moment for quiet contemplation, allowing the colors to blend and speak to our souls. And as always on the first Sunday of the month, we'll conclude with communion, nourishing our spirits and renewing our sense of purpose.

Come ready to think messy, imperfect thoughts, to be inspired, and to see the world – and The Garden – with fresh eyes.
