IMMEDIATE NEEDS FOR FAMILIES SEEKING SHELTER

IF YOU CHOOSE TO DONATE, PLEASE BRING ITEMS ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 5 OR USE THE AMAZON WISH LIST LINK

The City of Indianapolis’ Family Winter Contingency Shelter, run by Aspire Indiana Health, is providing winter shelter for families with children at the former Susan Roll Leach IPS Elementary School, 2107 N. Riley Ave., through March 31. Though not ideal, it’s a safe alternative to being outside. The shelter needs community support for basic needs, and you can find the list and an Amazon Wishlist here. For questions or ideas, contact ophs@indy.gov.
