Sharing Our Stories

Do you remember the excitement of participating in Show and Tell during your early school days? It was a special moment to share something meaningful from your life with your friends, giving them a glimpse into what mattered to you. This Sunday, we invite you to relive that joy with a special Show and Tell Gallery edition at our service.

Members of the Garden community will present photos they have chosen for the Gallery, each with a unique story and significance. These images are not just pictures; they are windows into the lives and experiences of our fellow members, offering us a chance to connect on a deeper level.

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus uses the Parables of the Lamp and the Measure to remind us of the importance of sharing our light with others. Just as a lamp is meant to be placed on a stand to give light to everyone in the house, we are called to share our stories and experiences. Show and Tell is not just a childhood activity; it is a vital part of our spiritual journey.

By sharing our stories, we illuminate the path for others and foster a sense of community and understanding. Join us this Sunday to see the beautiful and meaningful photos our members have chosen, and to reflect on how we can all participate in this spiritual Show and Tell. Let’s come together to celebrate the light within each of us and the ways we can share it with the world.

Life’s storms—both external and internal—test our resilience, but they also offer an opportunity for transformation. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, this reflection explores how brokenness can lead to renewal, strength, and deeper purpose. Discover strategies for navigating challenges with mindfulness, self-care, and faith, and trust that in every fracture, light finds its way in.
