The Sum of Us

A Vision of Equity and Inclusion

What might a future look like in which we lived in community where we were all one in God? We hope for such a future, yet we continue to stumble along the way, choosing deliberately or unconsciously to maintain the status quo. In her book, The Sum of Us, Heather McGhee brilliantly analyzes how we arrived where we find ourselves: too-often divided, self-destruction, materially rich but spiritually starved, and sadly unequitable. With startling empathy, McGhee's heartfelt message offers us a new vision for a future no longer perceived and built as a zero-sum game.
