The Garden welcomes Chris Lefave
On Sunday, March 3, we welcomed Chris Lafave. Chris is the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library Curator. He has been a Vonnegut fan since attending Ball State and became the Curator in 2012. Chris has a Master’s in Library Science, has played in a bluegrass band and loves what Indianapolis has to offer its residents. He made possible the Vonnegut art exhibit that will remain through Easter. During the service Chris shared his thoughts and insights on Vonnegut and the impact he has had on his life.

Betty Brandt comments on how two films—Conclave and Penguin Lessons—have taken on unexpected relevance in 2025. Conclave offers a glimpse into the process of selecting a new pope, coinciding with Pope Francis’s passing, while Penguin Lessons delves into Argentina’s turbulent 1970s, raising questions about justice and moral responsibility. Explore their significance in today's changing world.
